let's just recap the rules for this one:
the puzzle uses 9 letters instead of numbers. it consists of 5 overlapping sudoku grids (the large 9x9 squares). within each of these 5 grids, every row, column and internal 3x3 square must contain each of the 9 letters exactly once.
solve the crossword clues ... solve the sudoku. I've tried to make the clues moderate-doable, and the resulting sudoku moderate-tough.

Why are you so cool?
yeah. I recently tried to re-solve this one (obviously, I already know the xword answers) and I still found it tough enough to wish I'd used a pencil.
