hypersudoku is one of the many things that I didn't invent, but I wish I had. it was my main inspiration for creating these sudoku variants in the first place.
one of our local free papers - the "Rino" (no link 'cause it's a stoopid paper otherwise) prints a weekly hypersudoku alongside the NY Times crossword puzzle. I am duty-bound to solve both - over a couple of hours and few too many beers, every Thursday night.
all puzzles posted here are original to me and are not computer generated.
the rules for each type of puzzle are described in the the first post of that category.
most types of puzzle here are new variants of my own invention. if you've seen puzzles like this before, please let me know! I'd really like to claim credit, unless I didn't invent them first.
my aim is to provide tough and fun sudoku variants for affictionados of the game. I rarely comment on my own puzzles, but your comments are appreciated!

Did you know you can play this online at hypersudoku.com? It is an excellent game.
