algebraic sudoku

in this puzzle, each row is designated by a letter A through I, and each column by J through R. this gives each cell a distinct 2-letter identifier - e.g. AJ is the cell in the top-left.

the clues give algebraic relations between the numbers in various cells. for instance, in cell AN the formula BQ+CP means that the number in AN is the sum of the numbers in cells BQ and CP.

in the completed puzzle, each row, column and 3x3 square will contain the numbers 1 through 9.

in case it's not clear, the formula in CL is CP to the power of BK.

Very cool! Way over my head though.
